Which animal would you compare yourself to and why?

A bird.

Specifically a parrotlet.

Too curious for my own good and find myself in situations that a prudent person would know to steer clear of.

So let me give you a brief back story.

The photo is my pet bird Otis (the blue one) and he is far too curious for his own good, like his owner. Decided that he wanted to venture outside and see what the big wide world had on offer. To his surprise and (my horror), got cornered by a coalition of noisy miners.

His sense of curiosity, spontaneity and just sheer ruckus has seen him lose a few claws as well.

And like this bird –

My sense of adventure that sometimes, should be carefully measured …

Like the time I found myself deep inside the Borneo jungle, Indonesia attempting to jungle fish, instead was met with flash flooding and that basically left us camp bound and almost swept away with the 6 metre flood. This story would be for another time …

The tiny bird and I therefore … are like a match made in heaven.
