I don’t think about leadership or being a leader. What’s the point and purpose in leading someone? There must be a greater purpose to leadership other than a title to boss people around. Because, that is not true leadership; that is autocracy. There is a difference.
Good leaders are also excellent individual contributors. They know how to inspire their team to achieve their objective and minimise their internal conflict.
But if one can think of themselves a leader, then – are you truly thinking about the purpose of the position? Or are you more focused on power?
A good leader doesn’t see themselves as different from the team. They are shepherds; shepherding a team to greatness.
And … this question is so ridiculous. Who came up with such a prompt?
My essays revolve around human connection, hope and finding healing. They are found in times of solitude, experiencing life for all that it is, or they have been inspired by connections and conversations.
