My mini escape to the country has got me thinking? Why do people have children to only want to get away, so they can be away from their kids (even momentarily). Don’t get me wrong, I understand that children are hard work, but these adults look as though they have completely checked out from reality.
And this … is one adult observing another. No judgement, just morbidly curious?
Do people have children at the thought of some whimsical ideal?
I’m asking for me? Not a friend.
And then, my next thought, slowly moves to – Do you still want to be a parent? Or are you holding up an image for the world, because you are suppose to love being a parent?
Can someone shed some honest light over here?
These sorts of questions should never be posed btw. If we could really see the first thing that comes to people’s minds, (I think) we’d be scared as a society.
